The institute targets learners who have not made requirements of other tertiary institutions as well as youth facing the prevailing HIV\/AIDS pandemic that is common in local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gem Auxiliary Nursing School Training Course<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>At GEM Health Care Workers Training we offer affordable education for school leavers, as well as unskilled persons who are interested in the nursing profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1-year courses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The year-long accredited Health and Welfare SETA course allows learners access to employment opportunities nationally, as well as internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Courses include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ancillary Health Care \u2013 Full Qualification (NQF Level 01)<\/li><li>Community Health Work \u2013 (NQF Level 04)<\/li><li>Child and Youth Care \u2013 Full Qualification (NQF Level 04)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6-month courses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The 6 month-long accredited Health and Welfare SETA (HWSETA) course allows learners to be registered on the HWSETA database.
