Check the course entry in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.monash.edu\/study\/courses\/find-a-course\">Find a course<\/a>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/delta.vtac.edu.au\/CourseSearch\/searchguide.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CourseSearch (VTAC applicants)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monash.edu\/admissions\/entry-requirements\/minimum#tabs__540859\">Undergraduate courses<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monash.edu\/admissions\/entry-requirements\/minimum#tabs__540863\">Graduate courses<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All applicants need to meet the:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monash.edu\/admissions\/english-language-requirements\">English language requirements<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monash.edu\/admissions\/age-requirements\">age requirements<\/a>&nbsp;(applicants under 17)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and&nbsp;<strong>one<\/strong>&nbsp;of the following Australian or overseas qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"australian_qualification-540872\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monash.edu\/admissions\/entry-requirements\/minimum#australian_qualification-540872\">Australian qualification<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Satisfactory completion of eight units at level 3 and 4, including any English subject.<\/li><li>An ATAR of 70 or above.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interstate Year 12 qualification<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Satisfactory completion of qualifications equivalent to the VCE, and an accredited Year 12 English course.<\/li><li>An ATAR of 70 or above.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">International Baccalaureate (IB)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Satisfactory completion of the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, including English.<\/li><li>A score equivalent to an ATAR of 70 or above.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">University studies\/single units<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Satisfactory completion of at least two units at an Australian university or with Open Universities.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diploma of Tertiary Studies (DoTS)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Satisfactory completion of DoTS meets minimum requirements for entry into&nbsp;<strong>some<\/strong>&nbsp;undergraduate courses.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Monash College diploma<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Diploma part 1 meets minimum requirements for entry into&nbsp;<strong>first-year<\/strong>&nbsp;of some undergraduate courses.<\/li><li>Diploma part 2 meets minimum requirements for entry into&nbsp;<strong>second-year<\/strong>&nbsp;of some undergraduate courses.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information on these courses, see&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.monashcollege.edu.au\/courses\/diplomas\/academic-entry-requirements\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Monash College entry requirements<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Satisfactory completion of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.monashcollege.edu.au\/courses\/foundation-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Monash University Foundation Year<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TAFE qualification<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Satisfactory completion of an advanced certificate (Certificate IV or above) or diploma meets minimum requirements for&nbsp;<strong>some<\/strong>&nbsp;Monash undergraduate courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scored or graded results are required. We cannot assess results with pass\/fail or competent\/not competent results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Satisfactory completion of the STAT meets minimum requirements for entry into&nbsp;<strong>some<\/strong>&nbsp;Information Technology courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"overseas_qualification-540880\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.monash.edu\/admissions\/entry-requirements\/minimum#overseas_qualification-540880\">Overseas qualification<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Secondary school qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Satisfactory completion of final year secondary school, or equivalent, including English<\/li><li>Satisfactory completion of the International Baccalaureate (IB), including English<\/li><li>Satisfactory completion of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.monash.edu\/admissions\/entry-requirements\/nz-ncea-entry-requirements\">New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA)<\/a>, including English<\/li><li>Completion of the Gaokao &#8211; for minimum scores, see&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.monash.edu\/__data\/assets\/pdf_file\/0005\/57668\/Gaokao-flyer-for-students.pdf\">Gaokao entry requirements (pdf, 1.21 mb)<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Foundation programs in South Africa<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.monash.edu\/admissions\/entry-requirements\/south-africa-entry_archive\">entry requirements with completion of a foundation program in South Africa<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>IIE MSA (South Africa) Foundation Program<\/li><li>Higher Certificate in Higher Education Studies<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Overseas university studies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants with complete or incomplete overseas tertiary qualifications are assessed on a case-by-case basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Checking your qualifications<\/strong><br>You can check whether your overseas qualification meets the standard by using the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.monash.edu\/prior-study\/\">study credit and admissions search<\/a>. If your country or qualification doesn&#8217;t appear in the database, you can apply anyway and provide your results. We will assess them to see if they meet the requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Translating results<\/strong><br>If your qualification results are in a language other than English, please supply certified translated copies.
