The GSB initial payments and deadlines will be published in the 2026 Student Fees Handbook which will be available towards the end of 2016.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5 ft2\">South African citizens and South African permanent residents<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6 ft3\">An initial payment of fees (for tuition and residence) is due by <span class=\"ft1\">Friday 03 March 2026<\/span>. If payment is not received on or before the due date, a one-off late payment fee of 10% of the unpaid amount will be charged. You will be allowed to register if the initial payment has not been received by the due date.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5 ft4\">The amounts due are:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7 ft9\"><span class=\"ft5\">\u2219<\/span><span class=\"ft6\">Tuition cost initial payment <\/span><span class=\"ft7\">R21,500 <\/span>(or the full fee where this is lower than the initial payment), <span class=\"ft8\">plus <\/span>if applicable;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p8 ft9\"><span class=\"ft5\">\u2219<\/span><span class=\"ft6\">Residence (catering) initial payment <\/span><span class=\"ft7\">R25,500<\/span>, or<\/p>\n<p class=\"p9 ft9\"><span class=\"ft5\">\u2219<\/span><span class=\"ft6\">Residence <\/span>(self-catering) initial payment <span class=\"ft7\">R16,500<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p10 ft7\">This is not the full cost. <span class=\"ft9\">Final payment is due <\/span><span class=\"ft8\">31 July 2026<\/span><span class=\"ft9\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p11 ft2\">International students from the SADC region<\/p>\n<p class=\"p12 ft3\">An initial payment of fees (tuition and residence and the administrative service fee) is due before registration or by <span class=\"ft1\">Friday 03 March 2026, <\/span>whichever date is earlier. If payment is not received on or before the due date, a one-off late payment fee of 10% of the unpaid amount will be charged.
