Study material will be provided according to the beldnded learning approach. At least one compulsory assignment has to be submitted for evaluation and feedback. Feedback will ensure interaction with learners and this may be re-enforced through the use of online discussion sessions and social media technologies.<br>&nbsp;Kind of assessment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Formative assessment will be used in the feedback on assignments. Summative assessment will be implemented in the evaluation of a portfolio.<br>&nbsp;Information and Communication Technology in Education (CSIT1ED)Syllabus\/Content Topics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Orientation and awareness of available ICT resources<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Available ICT recourses that can be used to extend the learning beyond the classroom and normal contact hours.<\/li><li>Identify the available ICT technologies that the teacher has access to<\/li><li>Identify the available ICT technologies that the learners have access to<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples: internet, mobile technology, ebooks, etc<br>&nbsp;<br>Exploration of technology teaching resources<br>ICT technologies that can be used to develop resources for use in the classroom.<br>Examples: GoogleApps, www.edna.edu, open sources, arend.co, Cool projects by Microsoft, Discovery school by Discovery channel, Education site of National Geographic, The Shoa History links, Khan academy, iTools as portal to 2nd language learning.<br>&nbsp;<br>Practical implementation in their context of use<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Develop course material using various ICT available recourses, including:<ul><li>Working with images \u2013 screen capturing tools, editing images, creating videos.<\/li><li>Working with audio \u2013 finding, sharing, creating, subscribing<\/li><li>Working with video \u2013 finding, sharing, creating, subscribing<\/li><li>Multiple choice assessment tools<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples: PPT, MindMap (Freeplane), Screen capturing tools, video (cellphones, digital cameras), podcasts (Audacity \/ WebQuests), eBooks.
