SANZAF has been helping poor and needy families for over 43 years, assisting in the empowerment and upliftment of the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Closing Date: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>East London: 15 November 2026<br>Port Elizabeth \/ Gqeberha: 30 November 2026<br>Western Cape: 31 December 2026<br>Gauteng: 10 January 2026<br>Ladysmith: 23 January 2026<br>Pietermaritzburg: 31 January 2026<br>Kimberley: 31 January 2026<br>Durban: 28 February 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bursary Requirements:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You must be a South African citizen or a foreign national with a study permit<\/li><li>You must reside in the province of which you are applying<\/li><li>You must have proven financial need<\/li><li>You must be from a previously disadvantaged background<\/li><li>You must have applied for NSFAS before applying for this bursary (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zabursaries.co.za\/nsfas-funding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">apply for NSFAS funding here<\/a><\/strong>)<\/li><li>You must be studying or intend on studying at a recognised University, University of Technology or Technikon in South Africa<\/li><li>You must meet the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanzaf.org.za\/what-we-do\/sanzaf-bursary-program\/who-qualifies-and-who-should-apply-for-a-sanzaf-zakah-bursary.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">requirements of the SANZAF<\/a><ul><li>You must fall into one of these 3 categories:<ul><li>You must be currently in Matric, or<\/li><li>You must be currently studying at a tertiary institution and were sponsored by a family member or yourself last year, or<\/li><li>You must be currently studying at a tertiary institution and were sponsored by SANZAF last year<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bursary Coverage:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>What this bursary programs covers will be communicated to the qualified applicants.
