{"id":14159,"date":"2024-11-11T22:55:08","date_gmt":"2024-11-11T22:55:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/collegeguide.co.za\/?p=14159"},"modified":"2024-09-13T10:20:44","modified_gmt":"2024-09-13T10:20:44","slug":"2024-hci-foundation-bursary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forms24.co.za\/data\/2024-hci-foundation-bursary\/","title":{"rendered":"HCI Foundation Bursary"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The HCI Foundation is an independent trust, controlled by its trustees.&nbsp;These include members of the HCI Board of Directors, employees from subsidiary companies of HCI,&nbsp;and independent experts who are able to add value to the specific foci of the Foundation\u2019s work.<\/p><div class=\"forms-atf\" style=\"margin-top: 15px;margin-bottom: 20px;\" id=\"forms-2779659227\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9198760278752355\"\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\n<!-- Responsive ads atf -->\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9198760278752355\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"8381596201\"\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are the details to consider when applying for this Bursary program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ENDING DATE<\/strong>:  <strong>Applications are currently closed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LOCATION<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BURSARY REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are the requirements to consider when applying for this Bursary program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must be a South African citizen OR a permanent resident, refugee or asylum seeker<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must be 35 years old or younger on the application closing date (15 November)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must be studying on a full-time basis (part-time or distance studies will NOT be funded)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must NOT be studying at a TVET College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must have a gross family income of less than R38 000 per month<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must NOT be in receipt of a full cost bursary or a large partial bursary from another source (you may still apply if you have received a partial bursary, NSFAS or other loan)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Current HCI bursary recipients:<\/strong>\u00a0you must be continuing your studies towards an undergraduate qualification, at a recognised public University or University of technology in South Africa<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>New HCI bursary applicants:<\/strong>\u00a0you must be studying towards an Honours or Postgraduate Diploma, at any of these universities in South Africa:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University of Witwatersrand<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Johannesburg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Pretoria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Cape Town<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of the Western Cape<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Stellenbosch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rhodes University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of KwaZulu-Natal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of the Free State<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nelson Mandela University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>North-West University<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BURSARY COVERAGE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The HCI Foundation bursary will cover for up to 75% of tuition fees (up to maximum of R38 000 per annum).
