All new Engineering students must start at N1<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Compulsory placement test<\/li><li>Gr 12 Certificate with Maths<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Relevant N1 Certificate<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Relevant N2 Certificate<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Relevant N3 Certificate<\/li><li>Gr 12 at a Technical High School &amp; Mathematics, Science and relevant trade theory<\/li><li>Relevant Level 4 Certificate<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Relevant N4 Certificate<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>N6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Relevant N5 Certificate<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3.&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>DISTANCE LEARNING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Must produce certified results, ID and at least a Gr 9 qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4.&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>EXAM ONLY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2022&nbsp;<\/strong>Students must produce certified results and ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RECOMMENDATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2022&nbsp;<\/strong>If students with a N4-N6 certificate wants to enrol for N2 they must start with N1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; NCV<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Compulsory placement test)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LEVEL 2: BUSINESS STUDIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Gr 12 passed without higher certificate<\/li><li>Passed Gr 11<\/li><li>Passed Gr 9 or 10 with a 40% pass in English and 30% pass in Maths.<\/li><li>Passed Gr 9 or 10 but failed English and Maths will be placed on a waiting list.<\/li><li>Financial Management:&nbsp; passed Accounting<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LEVEL 2: ENGINEERING STUDIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Gr 12 passed without higher certificate with Maths<\/li><li>Passed Gr 11 with Maths<\/li><li>Passed Gr 9 or 10 with a 40% pass in English and 30% pass in Maths.<\/li><li>Passed Gr 9 or 10 but failed English and Maths will be placed on a waiting list.<\/li><li>For IT course \u2013 Gr 12 and passed Maths<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LEVEL 3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Passed Level 2 (At least 5 subjects \u2013 must enrol for supplementary)<\/li><li>Students can only enrol for 7 subjects in a year<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LEVEL 4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Passed Level 2 in all 7 subjects<\/li><li>Passed Level 3 (At least 5 subjects \u2013 must enrol for supplementary)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NB:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A candidate can only register on two consecutive levels in an academic year, i.e. Levels 2 and 3 or Levels 3 and 4, but not on Levels 2 and 4 or all three levels simultaneously.<\/li><li>The full ICASS component is to be completed for all seven subjects offered in an academic year to ensure that tuition is offered even for subjects being repeated and the ICASS component is to retain its currency of 1 academic year.<\/li><li>The same optional vocational subject is to be offered across all three levels by a candidate irrespective of the name change which may take place across Levels 2, 3 and 4.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ICDL (International Computer Driver\u2019s License)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Modules 1-7<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prospective students must complete a placement questionnaire which will assist the student in choosing the correct career path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Placement tests are written in September \u2013 October every year and also in January.&nbsp; To assure your space you are advised to write the test during September.<\/p><div class=\"forms-content\" id=\"forms-2775024206\"><div style=\"width: 300px; padding: 20px; margin: 0 auto; border: 1px solid #ddd; border-radius: 8px; background-color: #f9f9f9; text-align: center; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">\r\n    <p style=\"font-size: 16px; margin: 0 0 10px;\">Need Information or Confused about Something ?
