On completion of the programme, the learner will not be eligible to register at any of the existing professional councils. The Diploma in Emergency Medical care is accredited by the Council on Higher Education, Health Professions Council\u00a0of South Africa and registered by the\u00a0Department of Higher Education and Training.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Programmes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma in Emergency Medical Care<\/li>\n<li>Diploma in Nursing<\/li>\n<li>Diploma in Operating Department Assistance<\/li>\n<li>Higher Certificate in Auxiliary Nursing<\/li>\n<li>Certificate in Enrolled Nursing. (NB- Certificate in Enrolled Nursing was discontinued by the South African Nursing Council SANC until further notice. Please visit the Mediclinic website from time to time, for the accreditation of the new nursing qualifications.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirement for Diploma in Emergency Medical Care:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Grade 12 with admission to a Diploma or\u00a0equivalent with an average of 50% and in the case of a Vocational National certificate an average of 50% is required. If you are currently in Grade 11, submit your year end results for Grade 11.
