Ithemba is well positioned in the east of Pretoria en route to Mamelodi and is easily accessible to transport e.g. taxis, train and bus services.<\/p><div id=\"forms-64343164\" class=\"forms-atf forms-entity-placement\" style=\"margin-top: 15px;margin-bottom: 20px;\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9198760278752355\"\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\n<!-- Responsive ads atf -->\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9198760278752355\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"8381596201\"\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p>Ithemba Nursing Academy is a multicultural nursing academy and is provisionally registered as a private Further Education Institution at the Department of Higher Education and Training until December 2016 (2010\/FET 07\/114).\u00a0Ithemba strives to be a nationally and internationally recognized nursing education and training institution that responds to the needs of diverse students and other constituents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Programmes Offered:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Higher Certificate: Auxiliary Nursing<\/li>\n<li>Diploma in Nursing: Staff Nurse<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification at exit level 4:<br \/>\nSubjects:<\/li>\n<li>English Higher Grade \u2013 Level 3<\/li>\n<li>Physical Sciences and\/or Life Sciences \u2013 Level 4<\/li>\n<li>Mathematics \/ Mathematical Literacy \u2013 Level 4<\/li>\n<li>Computer Literacy \u2013 Level 3<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pre Selection:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A candidate has to write a pre-selection test and undergo an interview prior to being considered for studies.<\/li>\n<li>A pass rate of 70% is a requirement for a pre-selection test prior that a candidate can be considered for an interview.<\/li>\n<li>Foreign qualifications should be verified with the South African Qualification Authority.
