FNNS is also in the process of registering with the Council of Higher Education and the Department of Higher Education.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"Heading-2\"><span class=\"C-2\">MORE ABOUT US<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-3\">Future Nurses Nursing School (Pty) Ltd \u201cFNNS\u201d is a private company registered in terms of the South African Companies Act 1973. FNNS enjoys provisional institutional accreditation from SANC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-3\">FNNS meets the black economic empowerment criteria through its shareholding and employment policies.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"Heading-1\"><span class=\"C-2\">HIGHER CERTIFICATE: NURSING AUXILIARY COURSE<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-3\"><br \/>\n<strong>Future Nurses Nursing School : MINIMUM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u2022 Students who register for this qualification should have any of the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u2022 Access to this qualification is National Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification at exit level 4<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u2022 Grade 12 Certificate or National Senior Certificate with the appropriate selection of subjects including:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0o English<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0o Mathematic \/ Mathematical Literacy \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0o Life Science \/ Biology \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><strong><span class=\"C-3\">LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-5\">The following is a recommendation:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u2022 Communication (English) \u00a0level \u00a0\u00a04 or 3<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u2022 Mathematics \/ Mathematical literacy \u00a0level \u00a04 or 3<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u2022 Life Sciences level\/Biology \u00a0Level \u00a04 or3<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><strong><span class=\"C-3\">DURATION OF THE COURSE:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">The duration of the programme is 1 (one ) academic year of at least 44 weeks full time study.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">The course consists of theory and practical work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">Medium of tuition is in English<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><strong><span class=\"C-3\">COURSE OF STUDY:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-5\">All theory is offered at the Academy:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u2022 Nursing History and Ethics<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u2022 Basic Nursing Care<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u2022 Elementary Nutrition<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u2022 First Aid<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u2022 Anatomy and Physiology<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">\u2022 Introduction to Comprehensive Health Care<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">Theoretical examinations are conducted by the South African Nursing Council at the end of each study year. \u00a0Practical examinations (clinical) are conducted by Future Nurses Nursing School at the end of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-4\">Successful learners can register at the South African Nursing Council as an Auxiliary Nurse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><strong><span class=\"C-3\">OTHER EXPENSES:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><span class=\"C-5\">Fees
