{"id":57680,"date":"2024-11-29T16:41:10","date_gmt":"2024-11-29T16:41:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nursing24.co.za\/?page_id=1057"},"modified":"2024-11-29T16:41:10","modified_gmt":"2024-11-29T16:41:10","slug":"future-nurses-nursing-school-intake-2019-2020","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/forms24.co.za\/data\/future-nurses-nursing-school-intake-2019-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Future Nurses Nursing School Intake 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MINIMUM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p><div id=\"forms-3716398231\" class=\"forms-atf forms-entity-placement\" style=\"margin-top: 15px;margin-bottom: 20px;\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9198760278752355\"\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\n<!-- Responsive ads atf -->\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9198760278752355\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"8381596201\"\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Students who register for this qualification should have any of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Access to this qualification is National Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification at exit level 4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Grade 12 Certificate or National Senior Certificate with the appropriate selection of subjects including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;o English<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;o Mathematic \/ Mathematical Literacy &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;o Life Science \/ Biology &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following is a recommendation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Communication (English) &nbsp;level &nbsp;&nbsp;4 or 3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Mathematics \/ Mathematical literacy &nbsp;level &nbsp;4 or 3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Life Sciences level\/Biology &nbsp;Level &nbsp;4 or3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DURATION OF THE COURSE:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The duration of the programme is 1 (one ) academic year of at least 44 weeks full time study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The course consists of theory and practical work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Medium of tuition is in English<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">COURSE OF STUDY:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All theory is offered at the Academy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Nursing History and Ethics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Basic Nursing Care<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Elementary Nutrition<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 First Aid<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Anatomy and Physiology<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Introduction to Comprehensive Health Care<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Theoretical examinations are conducted by the South African Nursing Council at the end of each study year. &nbsp;Practical examinations (clinical) are conducted by Future Nurses Nursing School at the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Successful learners can register at the South African Nursing Council as an Auxiliary Nurse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OTHER EXPENSES:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fees include the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 SANC fees access (Registration and final examination)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Democratic Nursing Organization of South Africa (DENOSA ) membership fee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Practical tool ( Medical kit )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Auxiliary prescribed books<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fees does not include the following<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Study Guides<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Own transport to facilities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Achievers ceremony fees<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ADMISSION DATES<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two intakes per year: January and June<\/p><div id=\"forms-566457137\" class=\"forms-content forms-entity-placement\"><div style=\"width: 300px;
