The process is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go to&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nsfas.org.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.nsfas.org.za<\/a>&nbsp;and click on \u201c<strong>myNsfas account<\/strong>\u201c.<\/li><li>Enter your username and password.<\/li><li>Click on the \u201c<strong>My personal details<\/strong>\u201d tab.<\/li><li>Update your cellphone number and\/or email address to your current one.<\/li><li>Click \u201c<strong>Update your details<\/strong>\u201d to proceed.<\/li><li>A One Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to the new number and email address that you have provided.<\/li><li>Enter the OTP and click submit.<\/li><li>Your details will immediately be updated.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><ins><\/ins><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re an applicants with an existing account, you can sign in using your usernames and password or Facebook and Google accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Remember,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your cellphone number or email address must be uniquely yours and cannot be shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are one of the NSFAS 2026 applicants whose application was unsuccessful and you have submitted an appeal, you may check your application results (nsfas status ) by logging into your myNSFAS account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to reset your MyNsfas account password<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Already have an account but forgot your MyNsfas account password?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t panic, simply reset your Nsfas login password by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Clicking on the \u201c<strong>Forgot your password<\/strong>\u201d tab and enter your ID number<\/li><li>Choose whether you have forgotten your username and password and click \u201c<strong>Submit<\/strong>\u201c<\/li><li>You will receive an OTP via email and SMS<\/li><li>Type in the OTP you received and click \u201c<strong>Submit<\/strong>\u201c<\/li><li>You will then be required to create a new password.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have forgotten your MyNSFAS login details and do not have access to the email address or cell phone number on Nsfas system, you\u2019re required to submit a certified affidavit requesting that your email and cell phone number be updated with the old and new details reflecting to&nbsp;uds@nsfas.org.za<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also watch the video below to learn how to reset your password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5V1EGmbLb1o\" allowfullscreen=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re facing any challenges concerning your account, don\u2019t hesitate to contact the bursary scheme via the following;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Call number:<\/strong>&nbsp;0860 067 327<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Toll free:<\/strong>&nbsp;0800 203 900<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Email:<\/strong>&nbsp;info@nsfas.org.za<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Twitter:<\/strong>&nbsp;@myNFSAS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kindly note that applications for NSFAS funding for the 2026 academic year are currently closed.
