In other words, there is no need for the employers to submit any document physically either before or after the ESIC registration. Just press \u2018click here\u2019 to go to the \u2018User Login\u2019 page.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/in\/resources\/in_qrc\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image8.png\" alt=\"ESIC REGISTRATION\" class=\"wp-image-31919\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>Once you are on the \u2018User Login\u2019 page, click on \u2018Sign Up\u2019 option provided towards the bottom of the Captcha Field\u2019. On doing so, the following \u2018Sign Up Page\u2019 would appear on your screen.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/in\/resources\/in_qrc\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image6.png\" alt=\"ESIC REGISTRATION\" class=\"wp-image-31920\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fill the Details on the Sign Up Page<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>Once you are on the \u2018Sign Up\u2019 Page, enter details in the given fields such as:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Company Name \u2013 mention your company name here<\/li><li>Principal Employer Name \u2013 as per section 2(17) of the ESI act, a principal employer means :<ul><li><strong>In case of factory<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 owner, occupier, managing agent of owner or occupier, legal representative of a deceased owner or occupier, manager of the factory under the Factories Act, 1948<\/li><li><strong>In case of establishments belonging to or under the control of the government of India \u2013&nbsp;<\/strong>specified authority, head of the department (in the absence of the specified authority)<\/li><li><strong>In case of other establishments<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 person responsible for control and supervision of the establishment<\/li><li><strong>In case of shop<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 owner or management of the owner, proprietor, partners, directors<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>State \u2013 where your factory\/establishment is located<\/li><li>Regions<\/li><li>Email Id (Username)<\/li><li>Phone No<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>After filling the above details, check the the box next to notification \u2018Please confirm your establishment\/factory undereXclusive Labour Contract\/Man Power Suppliers, Security Agencies, Contractors Labour categories. If not please register through Common Registration Link for ESIC\/EPFO.\u2019 After doing so, click on the \u2018Submit\u2019 button.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/in\/resources\/in_qrc\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image7.png\" alt=\"ESIC REGISTRATION\" class=\"wp-image-31921\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Receive Username and Password Details<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>After submitting the sign up details, you will receive an email from the ESIC insurance team. This email would contain your username and password details that you would use for registering yourself as an employer and your employees under the ESI scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Enter Login Details on the ESIC portal<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>After receiving the login credentials, access the esic portal again and enter your login details at the \u2018User Login Page\u2019. So, you need to enter your username, password as received in the email and enter Captcha code provided next to the Captcha code field. After entering the details, press \u2018Login\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/in\/resources\/in_qrc\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image1.png\" alt=\"ESIC REGISTRATION\" class=\"wp-image-31917\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Select New Employer Registration and Select Unit Type<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>After logging in to your ESIC account, you will see a page displaying the \u2018New Employer Registration\u2019 Link. Click on the \u2018New Employer Registration Link\u2019 to proceed further.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/in\/resources\/in_qrc\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image10.png\" alt=\"ESIC REGISTRATION\" class=\"wp-image-31922\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>On doing so, the \u2018New Employer Registration\u2019 page will be displayed on the screen. Now, select the type of unit (factory, shop establishment etc) from the drop down list and click \u2018Submit\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/in\/resources\/in_qrc\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image3.png\" alt=\"ESIC REGISTRATION\" class=\"wp-image-31923\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fill Details in Employer Registration \u2013 Form 01<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>On submitting the type of unit, Employer Registration \u2013 Form 01 would appear on your screen. As you would see, this form is divided into multiple parts, as is evident through the tabs given towards the top right of the Form \u2013 01. These include:<\/p>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">(I) Unit details<\/h4>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/in\/resources\/in_qrc\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image2.png\" alt=\"ESIC REGISTRATION\" class=\"wp-image-31924\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>This is the first section of the employer registration form \u2013 01 that gets displayed after submitting the type of unit. In this section, you need to provide the details in respect of the unit you seek to register. These include:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Name of the unit (factory\/establishment)<\/li><li>Complete postal address of the factory\/establishment including state, district, phone number, mobile number, fax number, email<\/li><li>Police station<\/li><li>Name of town\/revenue village, taluk\/tehsil, revenue demarcation\/hubast number, municipality<\/li><li>Whether the building\/premises of factory\/establishment is owned or hired. Choose the relevant option from the dropdown.<\/li><li>If hired or there is a change in the name of the unit\/ownership, you need to mention the same . Further, you need to provide the ESI code number if you were covered earlier, the date from which the earlier factory\/establishment closed down and upload the copy of agreement or relevant deed containing terms and conditions under which property acquired\/taken on lease<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>Once this is done, you can click on \u2018Next\u2019 to proceed further. You can also \u2018save\u2019 the data in case you want to complete the registration process later, reset in case you want to re-enter the details or cancel if you want to discontinue.<\/p>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">(II) Employer Details<\/h4>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/in\/resources\/in_qrc\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image11.png\" alt=\"ESIC REGISTRATION\" class=\"wp-image-31925\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>This section includes details related to the employer. Thus, you need to provide the following information in this section:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Details of all the operational bank accounts such as account no, bank name, branch name MICR code of the bank\/branch, IFSC code of the bank\/branch<\/li><li>Income tax PAN No\/OIR no., income tax ward\/circle\/area<\/li><li>Is your factory\/establishment a multinational \u2013 yes\/no, exact nature of work\/business carried on, category, whether the activity being carried out in your factory\/establishment is considered hazardous process<\/li><li>Date of commencement of factory\/establishment<\/li><li>Whether registered under any of the acts such as factories act, shops and establishment act, other or none, Licence no, date and licensing authority, Other details that are applicable to you, Maximum number of employees that can be employed per day as per the licence<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>On filling the above details, click on \u2018Next\u2019 to proceed to the next section.<\/p>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">(III) Factory\/Establishment Details<\/h4>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/in\/resources\/in_qrc\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image9.png\" alt=\"ESIC REGISTRATION\" class=\"wp-image-31926\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>This section contains details with regards to the factory\/establishment you seek to register. These include:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Date since power is used for manufacturing process as per section 2(k) of the factory act<\/li><li>Whether License is issued under section 2(m)(i) or 2(m)(ii) of the factories act 1948<\/li><li>Power connection details such as connection number, sanctioned power load and issuing authority<\/li><li>Constitution of ownership<\/li><li>Other details such as father\u2019s name, age, permanent residential address of the manager declared under the factories act etc<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>On filling the above details, click on \u2018Next\u2019 to proceed to the next section.<\/p>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">(IV) Employee Details<\/h4>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/in\/resources\/in_qrc\/uploads\/2020\/04\/image4.png\" alt=\"ESIC REGISTRATION\" class=\"wp-image-31927\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>This section deals with employee details such as:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>work\/business carried out through contractor\/immediate employer<\/li><li>Nature of business<\/li><li>EPF code number<\/li><li>Issuing authority<\/li><li>No. of employees employed for wages directly and through immediate employers on the date of application<\/li><li>First date since when10 or 20 or more coverable employees under ESI act were employed for wages<\/li><li>Total wages paid in the preceding month<\/li><li>Employee declaration form<\/li><li>Branch office and inspection division<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>After filling the above details, click on the check box that asks for your declaration for the correctness of the information provided and click \u2018Submit\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pay Initial Contribution<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>After submitting all the details in the \u2018Employee Details\u2019 section, you will be directed to \u2018Payment of Advance Contribution Page\u2019. Here, by clicking on the \u2018Pay Initial Contribution Link\u2019 you will be directed to the \u2018Advance Contribution Payment\u2019 page where you are required to fill the \u2018Amount to be Paid\u2019 field and select the payment mode (online or offline) to pay advance contribution for 6 months`. After filling these details click on the \u2018Submit\u2019 button. Note down your Challan Number and press \u2018Continue\u2019 to make payment.<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Receiving Registration Letter C -11<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>On making the payment, you as an employer would receive a system generated registration letter on your registered email id once the challan gets realized from the bank. It must be noted that C \u2013 11 is a computer generated letter nad does not need any signatures.
