A registration certificate obtained either under the:<\/p>\n\n\n<p>a. Factories Act<\/p>\n\n\n<p>b. Shops and Establishment Act<\/p>\n\n\n<p>2. Certificate of Registration in case of Company, and Partnership deed in case of a Partnership<\/p>\n\n\n<p>3. Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of the Company<\/p>\n\n\n<p>4. A list of all the employees working in the Establishment<\/p>\n\n\n<p>5. PAN Card of the Business Entity as well as all the Employees working under the entity<\/p>\n\n\n<p>6. The compensation details of all the employees<\/p>\n\n\n<p>7. A cancelled cheque of the Bank Account of the Company<\/p>\n\n\n<p>8. List of Directors of the Company<\/p>\n\n\n<p>9. List of the Shareholders of the Company<\/p>\n\n\n<p>10. Register containing the attendance of the employees<\/p>\n\n\n<p>After collecting all the above-mentioned documents the following procedure is to be followed for the registration of the ESI:<\/p>\n\n\n<p>a. Form No \u2013 1 (Employers Registration Form) is to be downloaded and filled.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>b. After downloading the PDF version of the form and filling it, it has to be submitted\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.esic.nic.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">on the website<\/a>\u00a0itself along with the above-mentioned documents.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>click here for <a href=\"https:\/\/forms24.co.za\/data\/esic-online-registration-process\/\">ESIC ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"verification\"><strong>What is the process after the form verification?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Step 1: After verification of the form, the government will issue a 17 digit unique number<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Step 2: The employee who is registered under this scheme will provide the employer with the filled form and photographs of his own family members as a part of the process of registration and will get an ESI card after registration<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Step 3: Any change in the Company or its employees will be intimated to the ESIC<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"How\"><strong>How many returns are filed every year after the registration is finalised?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>After the registration ESI Returns have to be filed twice a year. The following documents are required for the filing of the returns:<\/p>\n\n\n<p>1. Register of Attendance of the Employees<\/p>\n\n\n<p>2. Form 6 &#8211; Register<\/p>\n\n\n<p>3. Register of wages<\/p>\n\n\n<p>4. Register of any accidents which have happened on the premises of the business<\/p>\n\n\n<p>5. Monthly returns and challans<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"benefits\"><strong>What are the benefits of ESIC registration?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>The benefits of registering under this scheme are varied. Some of them are:<\/p>\n\n\n<p>1. Sickness benefits at the rate of 70% (in the form of salary), in case of any certified illness certified and which lasts for a maximum of 91 days in any year<\/p>\n\n\n<p>2. Medical Benefits to an employee and his family members<\/p>\n\n\n<p>3. Maternity Benefit to the women who are pregnant (paid leaves)<\/p>\n\n\n<p>4. If the death of the employee happens while on work \u2013 90% of the salary is given to his dependents every month after the death of the employee<\/p>\n\n\n<p>5. Same as above in case of disability of the employee<\/p>\n\n\n<p>6. Funeral expenses<\/p>\n\n\n<p>7. Old age care medical expenses<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"entities\"><strong>Entities covered under ESIC<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>As per the government notification dated Sec 1(5) of the ESI Act the following entities are covered:<\/p>\n\n\n<p>1. Shops<\/p>\n\n\n<p>2. Restaurants or Hotels only engaged in sales.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>3. Cinemas<\/p>\n\n\n<p>4. Road Motor Transport Establishments;<\/p>\n\n\n<p>5. Newspaper establishments (which is not covered under the factory act)<\/p>\n\n\n<p>6.
