{"id":22871,"date":"2024-01-05T23:33:51","date_gmt":"2024-01-05T23:33:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bestbrainz.com\/info\/ph\/?page_id=330"},"modified":"2024-01-05T23:33:51","modified_gmt":"2024-01-05T23:33:51","slug":"do-i-need-to-register-my-online-business-to-bir","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/forms24.co.za\/data\/do-i-need-to-register-my-online-business-to-bir\/","title":{"rendered":"Do I need to register my online business to Bir?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>HOW DO I REGISTER MY ONLINE SELLING BUSINESS WITH BIR?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong>&nbsp;Go to the BIR Revenue District Office (RDO) which has jurisdiction over your place of business.<\/p><div class=\"forms-atf\" style=\"margin-top: 15px;margin-bottom: 20px;\" id=\"forms-1764788524\"><script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9198760278752355\"\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\n<!-- Responsive ads atf -->\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:block\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9198760278752355\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"8381596201\"\n     data-ad-format=\"auto\"\n     data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2:<\/strong>&nbsp;Prepare BIR Form 1901 or the Application for Registration for Self-Employed (Single Proprietor\/Professional), Mixed-Income Individuals, Non-Resident Alien Engaged in Trade\/Business, Estate and Trust; and BIR Form 1906, or the Application for Authority to Print Receipts (ATP) and Invoices.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3:<\/strong>&nbsp;Submit the following documents to the Client Support Officer (CSO) in the RDO.<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Government-issued primary ID<\/strong>\u00a0with your name, address, and birthdate (Read:\u00a04 Government IDs That Are Easy to Apply For)<\/li><li>Photocopy of\u00a0<strong>Mayor\u2019s Business Permit<\/strong>\u00a0or duly received Application for Mayor\u2019s Business Permit if the permit is still under process with your LGU; and\/or Professional Tax Receipt\/Occupational Tax Receipt issued by the LGU or DTI Certificate<\/li><li>New sets of permanently bound books of accounts<\/li><li>Proof of Payment of Annual Registration Fee (ARF) (for clients with existing TIN or applicable after TIN issuance)\u00a0<strong>**see Step 6 and 7<\/strong><\/li><li>Final and clear sample of Principal Receipts\/Invoice<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p><em>Additional documents, if applicable<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Franchise Documents (if any)<\/li><li>Certificate of Authority (for Barangay Micro Business Enterprises)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3:<\/strong>&nbsp;Wait for your turn to be interviewed by the CSO to determine the applicable tax type, and for the officer to encode and generate TIN.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4:&nbsp;<\/strong>Receive TIN and copy of BIR form 1901<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 5:&nbsp;<\/strong>Pay for your ARF (\u20b1500.00) and Documentary Stamp Tax (\u20b115.00) and receive proofs of payment.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 6:&nbsp;<\/strong>Present your proofs of payment to the Registration Head so they can generate the Certificate of Registration (COR) and Authority to Print (ATP) and forward it for review.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 7:&nbsp;<\/strong>Receive COR, Ask for Receipt Notice (ARN), ATP, and Books of Accounts<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>HOW MUCH ARE THE TAX CHARGES?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>The first thing you need to know is that&nbsp;<strong>businesses earning less than \u20b1250,000 will have zero (0) tax<\/strong>. But they still need to register and declare income with the BIR.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Take note that your online business will still pay similar standard taxes to physical businesses.
