The practitioner\u2019s name, ID\/Passport Number, type of member, email address as well as cell number are displayed on the card.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At this point the practitioner may choose to email the card, download a .pdf version that may later be printed as confirmation of renewal or just show the QR Code.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Emailing the card<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Click<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Email Card<\/strong>&nbsp;as shown in Figure 1 above;<\/li><li>A screen for an&nbsp;<strong>email address<\/strong>&nbsp;will appear;<\/li><li>Enter the receiver\u2019s email address and&nbsp;<strong>click OK;<\/strong><\/li><li>A confirmation prompt will appear \u2013&nbsp;<strong>click OK;<\/strong><\/li><li>The receiver will receive the practicing card in his\/her&nbsp;<strong>email inbox.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Figure 2: Email Process Flow&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hpcsa-blogs.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/HPCSA-email-process-flow.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hpcsa-blogs.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/HPCSA-email-process-flow.jpeg\" alt=\"HPCSA email process flow - Copyright \u00a9 SpesMed\" class=\"wp-image-2551\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Showing the QR Code (Quick Response Code)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The practitioner has the option to scan the QR code on the card, using a smartphone. The code contains the practitioner\u2019s name, ID\/Passport Number, type of member, email address as well as cell number and are displayed on the card.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click on Show QR as shown in Figure 1, a practicing card showing a QR code similar to Figure 3 will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>QR Code&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hpcsa-blogs.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/QR-code.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hpcsa-blogs.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/QR-code.jpeg\" alt=\"QR code - Copyright \u00a9 SpesMed\" class=\"wp-image-2552\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scan the QR code with a smartphone and view practitioner details as shown in Figure 4 below.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Figure 4: Practicing card appearance on scanning QR code<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hpcsa-blogs.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Practising-card-appearance-on-scanning-QR-code.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hpcsa-blogs.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Practising-card-appearance-on-scanning-QR-code.jpeg\" alt=\"Practising card appearance on scanning QR code - Copyright \u00a9 SpesMed\" class=\"wp-image-2553\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To hide the QR code information, click Hide QR and Figure 3 reappears.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Downloading confirmation of renewal<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u2022 Click on Download as shown in Figure 1;<\/li><li>\u2022 Save the downloaded, .pdf practicing card on your computer files, as shown in Figure 5;<\/li><li>\u2022 Email, print or view the practicing card shown in Figure 5.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Figure 5: Downloaded renewal confirmation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hpcsa-blogs.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Download-renewal-confirmation.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hpcsa-blogs.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Download-renewal-confirmation.jpeg\" alt=\"Download renewal confirmation - Copyright \u00a9 SpesMed\" class=\"wp-image-2554\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>IMPORTANT NOTE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are three requirements that should be met first, before the card may be accessed and viewed, viz,<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\u2022 Invoice balance must be R0 \u2013 all due amounts have been settled;<\/li><li>\u2022 The renewal status is Active \u2013 status must not be Erased, Pending, etc; and<\/li><li>\u2022 The renewal process has been completed \u2013 all profile details have been provided\/completed.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If any of the above conditions has not been met, the electronic card does not generate.
