Below follows a representative sample of the University’s instructional programmes along with the estimated study fees of each, per annum, as applicable in 2025/2026. These figures are simply meant as a rough indication of the cost of tuition. For a more accurate indication of the cost, please refer to the relevant tables in the Calendar 2025/2026, Part 3. You can request a quote – see the link above the table. 

Please note that study-related additional costs as for materials and laboratory fees and travelling expenses, calculated according to the amounts of 2016 with the annual increase, are included in the amounts listed below; departments may alter these based on academic need.  Estimates for text books (refer to the academic departments), membership dues for academic and registered societies (R50 – R200), PSO fees for private students (R297) and parking fees are excluded.

Did you know : International Scholarships 2024

There are several international scholarships available for South Africans to study abroad. Here are a few examples:

  1. Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Program: This program provides fully funded scholarships to study at selected universities in Africa, Europe, and North America. It is open to African students, including South Africans, who are committed to giving back to their communities.
