Stellenbosch Municipality Bursary 2025/2026

Stellenbosch Local Municipality has opened an Stellenbosch Municipality Bursary 2025/2026 for all interested applicants to apply.

Stellenbosch Local Municipality is the local municipality that governs the towns of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Pniel, and the surrounding rural areas, in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It covers an area of 831 square kilometres and, as of 2011, had a population of 155,733 people in 43,420 households.

ENDING DATE: This bursary will end on 19 November 2025/2026.

BURSARY REQUIREMENTS:

NB: To qualify for this bursary application, you are required to meet the following requirements:

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must permanently reside within the Stellenbosch Municipality’s municipal or surrounding areas
  • You must have completed Matric or you must be currently in Matric
  • You must be studying or intend on studying full-time, towards an qualification in one fields listed above in 2025/2026 (undergraduate or postgraduate)
  • You must be studying or intend on studying at a registered Higher Educational and Training Institution in South Africa
  • You must be currently unemployed youth
  • You must have a strong academic record

BURSARY COVERAGE:

This Bursary is available for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, within these fields:

  • Accounting

  • Internal Auditing
  • Risk Management
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Infrastructure (Civil Engineering and Quantity Surveying)
