SANZAF Zakah Bursary Opened 2025/2026

The South African National Zakáh Fund (SANZAF) has opened its 2025/2026 Bursary program and is inviting all interested applicants to apply ASAP. SANZAF is a faith-based socio-welfare organization that strives to facilitate the empowerment of needy families by fulfilling our mandate to effect meaningful and sustainable change through development and relief. ENDING DATE: The ending date is on November 2025/2026 and 31 December,2025/2026.

BURSARY REQUIREMENTS:

Below are the requirements for this Bursary:

  • You must be a South African citizen or a foreign national with a study permit
  • You must reside in the province of which you are applying
  • You must have proven financial need
  • You must be from a previously disadvantaged background
  • You must be studying or intend on studying at a recognised University, University of Technology or Technikon in South Africa
  • You must meet the requirements of the SANZAF
    • You must fall into one of these 3 categories:
      • You must be currently in Matric, or
      • You must be currently studying at a tertiary institution and were sponsored by a family member or yourself last year, or
      • You must be currently studying at a tertiary institution and were sponsored by SANZAF last year

BURSARY COVERAGE:

 funding to students all over South Africa, who are in financial need and are unable to pay for their tertiary studies. The bursary will cover ALL fields of study.
