How do I check my SACE status?

You can confirm your standing with the council by visiting their Educator Status Query page at: WWW.SACEONLINE.CO.ZA. An Educator Status Query clickable tab is also available on the council’s main page: www.sace.org.za. You can access your record using your ID number or your SACE Registration number.

Information presented on your record include your ID number, Registration No, Title/Initial/Surname, Type of Registration and Date of registration change. You should realise that this platform can be used to confirm the Registration Number when one is in possession of the corresponding ID number.

*Important*.

Where the standing of the Educator(s) with SACE is in question with the employer and there is no document available to this effect, employers are expected to visit this platform to verify the standing of their employee(s). Effectively, checking Educator Status Query and finding an entry for the Educator counts as Proof of Registration in the absence of a Registration Certificate. When all is well the message “This educator is in good standing with SACE” will be displayed.*important*. If you have made submissions to the council for Registration and are yet to receive your Registration Certificate, this platform will confirm for your reached the council, were processed and the Registration process is now complete. Effectively, this is you Proof of Registration while waiting for the Registration Certificate to reach you by post.
