Haw & Inglis 2025/2026 Bursary Opened

Haw & Inglis have opened their September 2025/2026 academic year bursary program and they are inviting all applicants to apply now. All Interested Applicants should apply using the details below.

THE HAW & INGLIS BURSARY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must be currently in Matric OR must have completed Matric
  • You must be studying or intend on studying towards an Undergraduate qualification in one of the aforementioned fields (postgraduate qualifications are NOT funded)
  • You must be studying or intend on studying at a recognised accredited tertiary University or University of Technology in South Africa
  • Current Matric students: you must achieve a minimum “C” symbol or 60% for Mathematics and Physical Science on your Matric certificate
  • Current tertiary students: you must have a good academic record AND have passed all previous subjects/ modules

Applicants must also possess the following personal attributes:

  • You must love the outdoors
  • You must be willing and able to work in rural areas
  • You must be interested in the building construction and civil industry
  • You must have strong leadership skills
  • You must have good communication skills
  • You must take initiative

Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your completed application form (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application be disregarded):
Students currently in Matric:

  • ID Document (certified copy)
  • Colour ID Photo (to be attached to the application form)
  • Learners or Drivers license, if applicable (certified copy)
  • Grade 11 final results (certified copy)
  • Matric June & September results (certified copies)
  • Matric final results, if available (certified copy)

Students currently at University / University of Technology:
