Details of George Whitefield College Application 2025/2026

Our next academic year begins in January. The DEADLINE for submission of applications is prior to this, in mid-September. The sooner you apply, the better, as it takes time to process your application. Late applications will only be considered for South African students who have their own funding in full. Please do not send us your application form until ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS are ready for submission. We cannot process incomplete applications.

Application

To apply for our Bachelor of Theology degree programme, please download the following items.

1. Application Form

2. Reference Form

You need to send these to your three nominated referee’s asking them to complete the forms and to return them directly to us (contact details are on the form). One of these forms must be completed by the minister of your church or another leader in the church, who is able to attest as to you spiritual standing, character, and suitability for Theological college.

3. A Medical Certificate – you will need to get a doctor’s report using the attached form.

  • A  Medical Certificate indicating your state of health

The deadline for submission of applications is mid-September, but the sooner you apply the better as it does take some time to get everything in order. For non-South Africans, we advise early application since it can take several months to acquire a study permit from the South African government.

Should you have looked at the Entrance Requirements and are still uncertain as to whether you qualify for entrance to GWC, please contact the Assistant Registrar, Mrs Lulu Jampies at ljampies@gwc.ac.za

We hope all this information will help you as you prayerfully consider your options.
