CPUT is accepting late applications for programmes with available spaces until 8 November .
The university will be considering only online application submissions and applicants can submit their application free of charge as no late application fees will apply.
However, manual applications will only be allowed for the following categories of applications:
National applicants (with an SA ID) with International qualifications who already have SAQA certification.
All Refugee or Asylum Seeker status applicants or permanent residency applicants with SA ID who meet the minimum requirements.
Application form should be hand-delivered to the Application and Registration Centre directly by applicant.

Below is the process that needs to be followed including who may apply:
Applicants who exhausted only one or two options out of the maximum of three choices for applications submitted during the normal application timelines
Applicants who did not apply during the normal application timelines (maximum of three choices)
National applicants with an SA ID, including refugee/asylum seeker and/or permanent residency applicants with a National Senior Certificate /Senior Certificate/ National Vocational Certificate /National Qualification.
National applicants (with an SA ID) with international qualifications who already have SAQA certificates
Refugee/asylum Seeker status applicants with international qualification who already have SAQA certificates
Permanent residency applicants with SA ID with international qualification who already have SAQA certificates
Applicants are advised to do the following before attempting to apply:
Consult the list of programmes with available spaces and for submission during above time frame.
Regretfully no Recognition of Prior Learning applications will be considered
Ensure that you meet the minimum admission and subject requirements for your programme of choice
Ensure that you have checked for any additional admission and supporting documentation
Certify all your supporting documentation. Certification must be less than three months old.
No ID, Grade 11 and Grade 12 results documentation is required to be submitted for online applications but is still required for any manual submission of applications.Written by Kwanele Butana
