WOZA MATRICS Bidvest Bursaries 2025/2026

Bidvest Group Ltd is a South African trading, services and distribution company. The conglomerate is based in Johannesburg and has invested in sectors such as freight, commercial products, property development and financial services. Founded in 1988, the organization has significant holdings in over 300 business ventures.

Bidvest targets the local market with its products and services, as well as a few niche markets around the world. The company has continually shown its support for the development of effective education projects. Teaming up with WOZA Matrics, they hope to provide financial aid to students in need through its bursary program.

The Bidvest Bursaries 2025/2026 by WOZA Matrics

WOZA Matrics was developed by the Department of Basic Education to help students catch up with their classwork during the COVID 19 pandemic. Their programs were aired on different platforms, including TV, radio and the internet. Bidvest Group Ltd has teamed up with WOZA Matrics to provide nine students with the chance to win a university bursary in 2025/2026.

Bidvest WOZA Matrics Application and Registration

Applicants for this bursary must meet the following requirements to qualify for financial aid. A failure to prove any of these qualifications will take a candidate out of the running. Every applicant should:

  • Reside and go to school in South Africa
  • Currently be in the 12th grade
  • Have applied and been accepted to the University of their choice (and received an acceptance letter)
  • Have a valid ID
  • Have a copy of their latest academic results

Application Details

Students who qualify for this bursary should send an application with the following details:

  • A one-page motivation letter saying why you deserve the bursary
  • Your most recent academic results
  • An acceptance letter from the university of your choice
  • A copy of your ID
  • A document showing proof of residence

The motivation letter and accompanying documents should be emailed to wozamatrics@ourafrica.africa before the deadline date.

Application Closing Date

The bursary competition will close on 31st December 2025/2026. Winners of those bursaries will be announced in January 2025/2026.
