Rio Tinto Rössing Uranium realises the importance of developing Namibia’s human potential. We have bursaries available to Namibian students who wish to study or who are presently studying the following fields:

Rossing Bursaries Requirements

•Namibian citizenship;

•70% pass mark for school leavers in the major subjects required for their further studies;

•65% average pass mark in major subjects for students already studying at a tertiary institution; and

•Acceptance or provisional acceptance at a recognised training institution (if available).

If you meet the mentioned requirements and are interested in this opportunity, kindly submit your application letter, clearly stating your intended field of study. Please attach the following supporting documentation:

1.A completed bursary application form OR a copy of your CV with a covering letter;

2.Certified copies of Grade 12 Certificate, if applicant completed Grade 12 prior to 2015;

3.Certified copies of academic results (2014 year-end and 2015 mid-year results);

4.Certified copies of mid-year,tertiary results, if applicant is currently studying at a tertiary institution;

5.Copies of provisional/admission letters where available; and

6.Certified copy of Namibian ID, passport or birth certificate.

As per the Affirmative Action (Employment) act, Act 29 of 1998; Namibian citizens from historically disadvantaged groups, especially women and people living with disabilities will enjoy preferential treatment.
