Short Course in Care for the Caregiver (75779)Purpose

To focus care-givers on their own self-caring behaviors to empower themselves as care-givers and to protect themselves from hazards in their work (i.e. burnout)
 Target group

The course is open to any interested layperson, student and professional seeking to enhance his or her personal vitality and well-being, as well as the quality of care he or she provides to others, regardless of whether in a volunteer or professional capacity
 Admission requirements

Participants should be proficient in the following: the ability to learn from predominantly written material; the ability to present and communicate information and opinions in well structured arguments without support; taking responsibility for their own progress; a willingness to take part in experiential learning of a professional nature
