- To equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to arrange, organise instructional resources and the physical environment in order to facilitate student learning, independence and interdependence
- To equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to plan, develop and implement instructional strategies

Kind of assessment
Formative assessment. Students must complete and pass compulsory assignments for the module. The assignment will involve task based assessments and a reflective assessment. The assignment will contribute 20% to the final mark of the module.
Summative assessment.
Students must write an examination which will count for 80% of marks. A sub minimum of 40% is required to pass the examination.
