How to Apply to Nelson Mandela University

Before completing an application form, please take note of the minimum admission requirements for the qualification that you are applying for or refer to the relevant faculty guide.

HOW TO APPLY


Step 1:  Get your application form.

  • Online Application:
    Undergraduate and postgraduate applicants can use the same online application process.
  • Hardcopy Application:
    This option is only for postgraduate applicants.  If you would like a hard copy application form, you may download one OR you will be able to request one by emailing info@mandela.ac.za or phoning (041) 504 1111. From there, you will need to provide your postal address and the application package will be sent to you. 
    • Postgraduates will also need to complete a postgraduate form.
    • This form will need to be completed in addition to the postgraduate application form.
    • You will be able to find details about the postgraduate application process here.

Step 2:  Complete your application form in full.

Step 3:  Attach all supporting documents.

Step 4:  Complete a student accommodation form.  This is part of your application.
