Geico Insurance: What are the different ways I can make a payment?

Automatic Payments: Have your payments withdrawn automatically from your checking account*, debit, or credit card. If your email address is on file, you will receive an email reminder prior to the payment being processed.

*If you pay your premium in installments, setting up automatic payments using your checking account can also save you money on installment fees.

Online Payments: Pay your insurance bill using a check, debit, or credit card. Simplify future payments by storing your account information online.

GEICO Express ServicesTake care of your most common insurance transactions, with no login required, like paying your bill and requesting an ID card without having to remember your User ID and password.

The GEICO App: Make your payment using a debit or credit card right from your mobile device. Download the GEICO App and access your policy even when you’re on the go.

Phone Pay: Call (800) 932-8872 and use our automated system to pay your bill. Store your account information in our system to make your future payments easier.

Bill Payer Service: Pay your GEICO bill electronically through your bank’s online bill pay service. If you like this option and pay your premium in installments, consider enrolling in our Electronic Funds Transfer option to save money on installment fees.

Mail: Send your check or money order to us in the mail. Be sure to choose the appropriate address below to ensure the fastest processing. And don’t forget – always include your policy number on your check or money order.

I am enrolled in Automatic Payments. Can I make a late payment?

You may have the ability to postpone your next scheduled payment.

Visit Automatic Payments. If eligible, the ‘Postpone’ option will be available for selection.

Postponement of your payment may not be available for one of the following reasons:

  • Your policy is paid in full.
  • You are not currently within 11 days of your due date.
  • You have already postponed your current scheduled payment.
  • We have already processed your current scheduled payment.

I am not enrolled in Automatic Payments. Can I make a late payment?

You can make a late payment if we have not canceled your policy for non-payment. If your payment is not received by the scheduled due date, you will receive a cancellation notice with the final date we will accept a payment to keep your policy active.
