For Coloured Girls Bursary, 2025/2026 has been opened and all interested applicants are required to apply as soon as possible. APPLY NOW
For Coloured Girls is a non-profit organisation whose main aim is to provide resources and support to young coloured girls, from grades 8 to 12, in order for them to achieve academic success. For Coloured Girls aims to help those from underprivileged communities who have no access to academic or other learning resources.
Closing Date: 25 February 2025/2026.
Applications are invited from coloured female students, who are currently in Grade 8 to 12 and have the potential and passion to further their academic qualifications.
BURSARY REQUIREMENTS:
- You must be a coloured female
- You must be currently in Grade 8 to 12 (i.e. a high school student)
- You must be from a coloured community
- You must have a passion for learning and willingness to further your studies
BURSARY COVERAGE:
This bursary programme provide recipients with the following benefits

- psychological aid
- mentorship
- learning and development initiatives
Note: this is a support programme – the organisation does not provide funds.

Note: Candidates are invited to apply for the 2025/2026 intake, and should the candidate be accepted into the first round, they will be advised on the second round requirements and ultimately become a recipient for the bursary award.
