Motorcycle Insurance Payment Plans

Pay In Full

The full policy premium is due on the effective date of the policy. (No installment fees apply).

  • 4-Pay – Pay your premium in 4 installments
    • 25% of the total premium is due on the effective date of the policy.
    • Three additional payments of 25% each are due at 2, 4, and 6 months after the effective date.
  • 6-Pay – Pay your premium in 6 installments
    • 25% of the total premium is due on the effective date of the policy.
    • Five additional payments of 15% each are due at 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 months after the effective date.
  • 9-Pay – Pay your premium in 9 installmentsAvailable if the total premium is over $88.
    • 17.6% of the total premium is due on the effective date of the policy.
    • Eight additional payments of 10.3% each are due in months 2 through 9 after the effective date.
  • MonthlyAvailable if the total premium is over $110. (This pay plan is not available in Florida and South Carolina)11-Pay (New Policies)
    • 12.5% of the total premium is due on the effective date of the policy.
    • Ten additional payments of 8.75% each are due in months 2 through 11 after the effective date.12-Pay (Renewal Policies)
    • 8.33% of the total premium is due one month prior to the effective date of the policy.
    • Eleven additional payments of 8.33% are due in months 2 through 12 after the effective date.

NOTE: If you elect to pay your premium in installments, you may be subject to an additional fee for each installment. The fee amount will be shown on your billing statements and is subject to change.

Payment Methods – Choose one of several easy ways to pay your premiums.

Online

  • Direct CheckWrite an online check. No postage! No mail delays! There is no charge for using Direct Check.Here’s How It Works
    • Log in to the secure Policyholder Service Center each time you would like to make a payment.
    • Provide us your checking account information. (Have a check handy so that you’ll have account and bank information.)
    • We’ll then create a facsimile check, which will clear electronically through your bank within one to five business days. (The transaction will show up on your bank statement as “GEICO PYMT.”)
    • Once you’ve set up your Direct Check payment option and created your password, you can choose to store banking information so you won’t have to re-enter it the next time.
  • Debit or Credit CardYou can make a payment with your debit card, check card or any major credit card.Here’s How It Works
    • Log in to the secure Policyholder Service Center each time you’d like to make a payment.
    • Click on the “Pay by Card” link and provide us with the details of your payment and card account.
    • GEICO will charge the card account you provided within one business day.

Automatically

  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)Paying your bill is a no-brainer with this easy payment option, which automatically deducts payments from your checking account. In most states, the normal service fee (which can be up to $5.00) is reduced to only $1.00 when using EFT.
  • Here’s How It Works
    • Log in to the secure Policyholder Service Center to enroll in EFT.
    • Once you’ve set up an account, your payments will be deducted automatically according to the payment plan you selected.
    • You’ll never have to worry about a payment arriving late! We promise that your payments will be made on time and your coverage will be uninterrupted as long as the funds are available in your account on the scheduled payment dates.
  • Debit or Credit CardRecurring Card Payment plan – Make automatic payments using a debit or credit card.Here’s How It Works
    • Recurring card payments allow you to make automatic automobile or motorcycle insurance premium payments using a debit or credit card.
    • Once enrolled, we will automatically charge your debit or credit card according to the schedule you select.
    • If you elect to pay your premium in installments, each installment may be subject to an installment fee as shown on your billing statement.
    • To learn more about recurring card payments, please log into your policy at our secure Policyholder Service Center.

By Phone

  • Interactive Voice Response (IVR)Make check or card payments via our toll-free automated phone system. By speaking or entering information with your phone’s keypad, you can make your payments when they are due.Here’s How It Works
    • You will need your card or checking account information available to make the first payment.
    • Call 1-800-932-8872.
    • Follow the automated prompts to enter your payment information.
    • You will be given the option to store your payment information so you do not need to enter it each time.
    • You will receive a verbal or emailed confirmation number at the end of every payment.

By Mail

  • Personal Check or Money OrderYes, we still accept payments the traditional way! You can mail in your check or money order.Here’s How It Works
    • We’ll send you a bill about two weeks before each payment is due, along with an envelope for sending your check or money order.
    • Mail us your payment, enclosing your paper bill stub.
    • Make sure that you mail your payment in sufficient time for it to reach us by the due date.
