Bryte Learnership Program 2025/2026

The Bryte Learnership Program has been established to provide an opportunity to benefit South Africa’s disadvantaged youth.

By engaging in this learnership, candidates have the chance to learn how the technical insurance industry functions and gains relative working experience at the same time.

Bryte ensures its applicants that they will be mentored and guided throughout the program. The Bryte Learnership program has set some entrance criteria for potential applicants.

Once accepted for selection, the candidates will enter the program and learn how insurance systems are integrated into business operations.

This learnership will not accept applications after Friday, 30 July 2025/2026, 12:00 pm.

Failure to comply will result in your application not being accepted or reviewed by Bryte.

Location

This learnership has opportunities available in Durban and Gauteng.

About Bryte

Bryte is an insurance company that offers coverage options for businesses. The company specializes in short-term insurance risk management solutions to improve risk profiles for businesses across Africa.

By partnering with the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA), a learnership was developed to provide help to disadvantaged youths in the country.

About the Bryte Learnership

This learnership is aimed toward the unemployed youth in South Africa who are financially disadvantaged.

Upon acceptance, learners will undergo a 12-month program where Bryte insurance will proceed to mentor and coach them in the protocols of technical insurance systems.

Here they will attend educational sessions honing their skills in behavioral and leadership competencies.

Candidates will receive relative work experience, training, and walk away with full accreditation of a level 4 FETC Short-term insurance qualification and FAIS compliance.

Bryte believes this to be an efficient social and economic enabler in their industry. This fulfills the company’s corporate responsibility to grow communities and focus on youth development.

Requirements

This learnership requires potential candidates to meet the following set criteria to be considered for selection and acceptance:

  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 24 years of age.
  • Applicants must come from a previously disadvantaged background.
  • Applicants must be South African citizens.
  • Applicants must hold a Matric certificate or equivalent.
  • Applicants must be literate and comprehend English.
  • Applicants must not have tertiary qualifications after Matric, and not be presently studying towards one.
  • Applicants must be in a financial situation that prevents them from studying toward a tertiary qualification.

If you do not meet these requirements, you will not be accepted into the Bryte Learnership program.
