ABOUT THE ANALYZE CONSULTING BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED & COVERAGE VALUE

Analyze Consulting is inviting students to apply for a combined Honours Bursary and Internship programme, for the 2025/2026 academic year. This bursary will cover an Honours equivalent degree (majoring in Information Systems), at the following Universities: Rhodes University, University of Witwatersrand, University of Cape Town and Nelson Mandela University.

Recipients will complete the Bursary programme within the first year, followed by the Internship programme in the second.

The bursary will provide cover for the following:

  • 1 year of full-time studies
  • Full coverage of registration fees, university tuition fees and examination fees
  • Textbook cover to the maximum value of R7 000
  • 1 year paid internship in Cape Town or Johannesburg
  • Possibility of full-time employment after completing the internship
  • Exposure to many business environments
  • Support for career development during the course of the programme
  • Informal and formal training

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ANALYZE CONSULTING BURSARY

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

  • You must be a South African citizen (by birth or descent)
  • You must be Black (per the B-BBEE Act: African, Coloured, Indian or Chinese)
  • You must have completed Matric
  • You must have achieved a minimum of level 4 for English Home Language OR level 5 for English Second Language
  • You must be enrolled to study towards one of the following qualifications for the 2025/2026 academic year: BBusSc with a major in Information Systems or BCom Honours in information Systems
  • You must be entering your 4th year of full-time study in 2025/2026
  • You must be enrolled to study at one of the following universities in South Africa: Rhodes University, University of Witwatersrand, University of Cape Town or Nelson Mandela University
  • You must be interested in pursuing a career in consulting
  • You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 60% for your 2nd and 3rd year of University study
  • You must have excellent analytical skills
  • You must have strong problem-solving capabilities

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE ANALYZE CONSULTING BURSARY

Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your completed application form (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application be disregarded):

  • ID Document (certified copy)
  • Matric certificate (certified copy)
  • Full academic transcripts/ record, from 1st year of studies up to your current year (on institutes letterhead)
  • Transcripts and undergraduate degree, if applicable
  • Updated Curriculum Vitae
  • Motivational essay to support your application (approximately 1500 words)
  • All applications will be reviewed and shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the first round of interviews
  • Candidates that pass the first round of interviews, will be invited to the second round of interviews
  • Selected candidates will then be made an offer by the middle of September 2025/2026
  • The Bursary contract will then be issued to the successful candidates and signed by the end of September 2025/2026
